When I moved in 3 years ago, this was a quiet, clean and respectful community. Management cared about the resident safety... and followed through on any complaints. Now, its loud, trash and dog poo is everywhere, and now people play music or surround sound systems at all hours of the night. People congregate in the parking lot. Upon finding out about your rental properties from our family that's also renting there, we filled out the application and... received a call that we were accepted. The office staff (Mike) was beyond helpful, professional, and personable he was a blessing to us in a time of uncertainty as to our living situation that we are currently living due to us having literally 30 days to be out of our current residence. We were pleased with the cleanliness of Unit H, and just wished that with all of your updated appliances that the washer and dryer were newer and maybe a gas stove instead of an electric. And newer doors ?? on the closets. I'm used to living a certain way as a woman of I and my husband, and we were assured that your property would be the best place for us even as senior citizens, I would like to add that also maybe offer veterans an incentive, discounted rate for living there. These are suggestions, not complaints. We look forward to living there and again Mike was amazing. He was on his peas & ques as my mother would say, answering calls professionally and still taking care of us and showing us the apartments.
Also maybe add a sliding door or bifold door to hide the washer and dryer in the kitchen area or put in a Stackable washer and dryer in the units to give more space to do laundry. Again suggestions, we're going to be the best tenants and keep your property just as if we owned it. I moved jn here with hopes of restarting. My first day getting there trying to settle in, nothing worked. The dryer to a... week to get fixed. My oven takes about 3 hours to pre heat. I recently moved to Sunset Ridge apartments from Chicago and was apprehensive about doing in-person viewings because of the... pandemic, and chose not to. I was originally interested in Arbor Ridge and was in contact with the building manager, Crystal Mason. Crystal was extremely knowledgeable and informative about all of the properties, the different amenities, the pros and the cons of each, the application process, etc. She ultimately helped me to decide upon which of the properties would best meet my needs. Crystal was even helpful after I decided to apply to Sunset Ridge instead. Tameka, the building manager at Sunset Ridge, is also great. I applied and set my move-in date on a pretty short notice, and she and the building maintenance still ensured that everything was ready to go by my move in date. I love the apartment. It’s an older building, but Crystal informed me of that before I applied. It is nice and spacious. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. The parking lot always has ample parking spots for my car. The heat and hot water always works wonderfully. The washer and dryer works well. One complaint is that the bedroom and living room doesn’t have a light fixture, but I have lamps so that’s not a huge deal. The location is convenient and only 4 minutes away from Aldi and about 7-10 minutes away from places like Walmart, etc. Based on my first week here, I’m pretty sure I’ll enjoy my stay and won’t have many problems throughout the duration of my lease.
